Creating Yahoo Application

1. After successful yahoo login go to URL https://developer.apps.yahoo.com/projects and click 'New Project' link.

2. It will show the 'CHOOSE THE TYPE OF APPLICATION' window and select 'BOSS, Contacts, Mail, Music, MyBlogLog, Social Directory, Status, Updates, Wretch' option in that window and click Continue.

3. In the following screen set the following values

• Application Name: your application name
• Kind of Application: Web-based
• Description: your project description
• Application URL: http://yourdomain.com/
• Favicon URL: http://yourdomain.com/favicon.ico
• Application Domain: http://yourdomain.com/
• Access Scopes: 'This app requires access to private user data.' and change 'Yahoo! Contacts' to Read
• 
• click 'Get API Key'

4. Need to verify your domain by putting the html file with the name given by Yahoo and Yahoo will verify your domain

5. After verification done you will redirect to page with API key, Shared secret and other API settings
